Here at Woodmont Golf & Country Club we offer a wide variety of activities for our Junior Members as well as the Juniors that live in the area! We have camps and available for a variety of activities and interests, including golf, tennis, and more! Read below for more information on each one! 
 


Summer Camps

2018 Summer Camps Schedule

9:30 am-12:30 pm Fun with STEAM Camp (Science, Technology, 
                             Engineering, Art, and Mathematics)

Children may bring a water bottle and a snack to camp.  If a child is staying for both a morning and an afternoon camp, they should pack a lunch or can order lunch from the club. J
 
Camps that do not have at least 6 campers registered will be cancelled the week prior.
 

 

Fun with STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art Mathematics): We will get elementary kids problem-solving, designing, and creating using science, engineering, art (and architecture), technology, and math principles. This fun camp is designed for the kids who can work in teams and independently following instructions and exploring their creative design talents. They will love building projects, playing fun math and science games, creating a video, and doing some really cool science labs. We will do different science labs each day that are sure to engage your kids. Some labs are even edible! Boys and girls welcome, ages 7 and above. Cost- $135 members, $150 nonmembers
 
Princess Camp : Campers will learn about the attributes, strengths and character flaws of various princesses through music, play and creative expression.  The goal of this camp is to build character and instill self-esteem while celebrating the joy that it is to be a girl. Ages 5 and above are welcome. Cost is $135 for members and $150 for nonmembers.
 
Lego Robotics and Challenges: Brick lovers will use Legos, Lego education software, and Lego Movie Maker to make creations come to life. Some of the available projects include Star Wars-themed builds, a remote controlled rover, a boat with a drawbridge, a soccer ball kicking punter with a motion activated goalie, a moving merry-go-round and Ferris wheel, a race car with an automated finish line, and a chomping alligator. Kids will also be faced with challenges to build bridges that won't crumble under pressure, catapults that shoot marshmallows, zip-lines, marble mazes, and more! This is a favorite camp that is requested year after year, and every year we add new exciting challenges! Boys and girls welcome, ages 7 and above. Cost is $135 for members and $150 for nonmembers.
 
Spanish Fun: Campers will learn Spanish language and culture through crafts, games and music. Join the fiesta as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo and Dia De Los Muertos this summer!  Children will learn basic greetings and vocabulary, such as colors, numbers, animals, etc. Boys and girls welcome, ages 6 and above. Cost is $135 for members and $150 for nonmembers.

Tennis Summer Camps & Activities

 



Junior Camps for Ages 8-15

Daily Program: Physical conditioning, Stroke production, and Fun competitive play

Monday-Thursday (Friday - rain day)

9:30-noon - Each child should bring snacks/drinks

Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced

Camps Dates: Choose from June 13-16, June 27-3 or July 11-14

Cost: $175

 

Munchkin Camps for Ages 5-8

Daily Programs: Stroke production and Fun competitive games

Monday-Thursday (Friday - rain day)

10am-11:30 - Each child should bring snacks/drinks

Camp dates: Choose from June 20-23 or July 18-21

Cost: $100
